Art & Culture Events Festivals

Come celebrate National Acadian Day with us in the Campbellton Regional Community on Thursday, August 15!

• 9 a.m.: Special activities as part of the Tide Head Area recreation program (outdoor rink located at 11 Mountain Street, Tide Head Area).

• 2-4:30 p.m.: Family activities at the outdoor rink on Mair Street in the Atholville Area - crafts, pocket games, face painting, cupcakes, music and more.

• Music (outdoor rink on Mair Street in the Atholville Area):

1) 2-3:30 p.m.: Renelle Levesque and Tracy Lapointe

2) 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Daniel Poirier

• 5:30 p.m.: Flag-raising at the Petite-Rochelle monument (near the lighthouse) on Salmon Boulevard in the Campbellton Area, followed by a tintamarre at 6 p.m. (starting at the lighthouse and ending at Salmon Place on Andrew Street).

• 9 p.m.: Les Gars du Nord perform at Alma Hall in the Atholville Area as part of the Summit Festival. Tickets are $15 (cash only) and on sale at City Hall, 76 Water Street, Campbellton Area.
